In this session, Haroon Moghul and Raphael Dascalu present their perspectives on the relationship between rationalism and mysticism in Islamic and Jewish traditions, and engage in a lively dialogue about the roles that these orientations can play in our own lives.

Haroon Moghul is a writer, commentator and educator. He's the Fellow in Jewish—Muslim Relations at the Shalom Hartman Institute of North America and teaches at the Columbia University School of Journalism. His most recent book is How to be a Muslim: An American Story.
