Pen of the soul: composing the niggun

WORKSHOP | The niggun (a traditional Hasidic melody without words) is a powerful instrument of devotion. We will explore the origin of the niggun and some of its history, and learn some niggunim. Participants will then have a chance to improvise short melodies that will be woven into a niggun for presentation.
