What do you do after leaving the only world you've ever known? Ari will reflect on the outcomes of his complicated journey away from a Hasidic upbringing. He now focuses on helping others by sharing his hard-earned lessons as a survivor of sexual abuse and substance abuse, and has become an advocate for improved educational standards in Hasidic schools in NYC. Note that the subject matter of this session may be distressing. Support will be available in the room if required. Tzedek can be contacted on 1300 893 335.
